Join members of Occupy Delaware for Friendsgiving on Saturday November 26, 2011 from 2:00pm until 7:00pm at Hanover Presbyterian Church.
There will be a seating at 3:00pm and one at 5:00pm to make sure there is a constant presence at Spencer Plaza and so actions planned for that day can take place without anyone missing out on the meal.
Everyone who is able to is encouraged to bring a dish, including: some Vegan and Vegetarian options, drinks (non-alcoholic only), etc. Please sign-up HERE with what you are planning on bringing.
IF you are donating a turkey please make sure it is thawed and dropped off at the church promptly at 7:45am so that we can start roasting at 8:00 am. We have 2 turkeys confirmed so far. If you are able to volunteer for cooking please sign up on the wall of the event with the time slot you are available. I will need at least two hands at 8:00 am. We will also need a clean up crew throughout the day and especially at the end of the event (which will end at 7:00pm so last clean up crew would be needed from 6:30-7:30pm).
In addition, there will have a collection box for Hungry Alex Food Drive which benefits The Food Bank and Camp Out for Hunger.
